Nitrous Oxide Emission Reduction Protocol
The Nitrous Oxide Emission Reduction Protocol (NERP) is intended to reduce on-farm emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) in a quantifiable, credible and verifiable way. Below is information on the NERP program.
On March 28, 2012 CFI held the first ever NERPinar. A web-based interactive conference featuring the following presentations:
Decision Paper for Nitrous Oxide Emission Reduction Protocol
International Launch of the first ever climate change protocol rewarding farmers for good practices in Canada
Clyde Graham presents the Nitrous Oxide Emission Reduction Protocol (NERP). NERP was recently launched in Alberta, Canada, and there is scope for it to be implemented more widely across Canada and globally.
